On behalf of the Elton John AIDS Foundation, Witeck-Combs Communications helped coordinate and publicize Sir Elton John’s Congressional testimony in support of increased U.S. funding to defeat global HIV/AIDS. Testifying before the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions in April 2002, Sir Elton John was joined by his colleague and ally, Sandy Thurman, President of the International AIDS Trust.
